ape hanger kits
Are the ape hanger kits worth the money? Looking more at the controls, are they good quality and the chrome. I have been looking at the hill country kits and the controls look nice, wondering if anybody has them and what they think. I have a 09FXDL with idiot lights on the riser, would the ape hangers look OK on these risers? Still decieding on 12, 14 or 16 inch apes.

I bought the 14" kit from R6C. PC'd gloss black and came with the Burly brand wiring kit. LOVE 'em. Have an '04 FXDL and the idiot lights are on the headlight brow thingy (hate that). I bought a new set of shorty risers from a stealer and reused my top clamp with new bolts. Save money and reuse stock controls unless you really want the chrome ones.
