Default carlini evil apes

These bars are sweet, but they say 1.25 inch thick. Do they come in 1" inch thickness or will a 1.25 inch fit stock controls on a 2007 softail standard. Im thinking of getting chrome in a 10" rise....if they fit.

I am pretty sure they are stepped down for the controls and the risers....oops...carlini page says the 10" are not stepped down, but I think that is for the risers. I am pretty sure your controls will work. I bet Drew knows for sure. Hell, you will want 14" anyway...lol

i see that the 14 and 17" are stepped but i would like the 10" and apparently they are non stepped, so wondering if they would still work?

I think at most you would need new risers, to accept 1.25" bars, but like I said, I would think your controls will work.

right on, thanks. Going to do some more investigating. Not sure on whether 10 or 14 inch. I like the look of the 10 inch on the bike in this thread.

I can get you the evil apes unlike the gangster and flyin apes. The 10" you need 1.25" risers. The taller ones your stock risers will work. I am thinking with 10" you stock cables should work but do not know for sure. I'll put a call in on Monday to get the specifics of it all.

ok thanks Doc, yes let me know if the 10" will work. I am not too concerned about the cables just make sure my stock controls will work and if i need 1.25 risers i will order them from you also. You can pm or email me at dsonnenberg31@yahoo.ca a price for the chrome ones. It will be shipped to Grand Forks ND.

There is no way they would make bars that the stock controls would not fit on. It makes no sense. I am sure they are tapered down for the controls.
