Just had the same issue 3 days ago on an 08 Fatbob, tried all the tricky methods and they all failed, so took the head off the bike and took it to a machine shop, got new gasket set and dusted off the torque wrench and reinstalled the TE lastnite....its not work trashing a good head, take it to some one that can do it properly

Were not talking 500 or even 200 $ here a good wrench will have that out and fixed in an hour, of course I encourage folks to do stuff and learn , but you are taking an awful risk to save less than 100$---> just my 2 cents 'nuff said.
Man drill it out re tap the head or chuck in a helicoil no problem i have run helicoils in engines for years no problem and you wont comprimise the head. Just do it dude it will be ok take your time think twice and do it once.
Assuming its not sheered clean and there's something bite onto, Crank the bike up and let it idle and get hot. Once the bike gets hot, the metal expands and it'll be much easier to back out the stud.... That's how I got mine out.
Will the engine get damaged if it is ran without the exhaust on? If not how long is to long to run the engine without the exhaust on?
i had the same thing, spent hours on it, special drill for the no clearance that works on an angle- i drilled it out with the georges garage jig- put the new stud in and broke it again
if i had more experience i would have just taken the head off and drilled it out, i tried every technique including the double nut, surprised welding didnt work, should make it hot enough to break loose. good luck!
an update for everyone since i seen this thread at the top again. jims tool worked tapped hole and got grade 8 stainless allen bolt and put it together. dont really care if it lasts longer than this riding season now cause got new heads for the 107 build. checked bolt and not coming loose after 350 miles
