why do you wanna take it out? the twin slash sounds good and its plenty loud.... if you wanna make it louder pull the cat out of the head pipe.

If the baffle is like mine, and the set screw is actually a screw that goes into a welded nut inside the baffle...try removing the screws and find an allen wrench that will fit into the inside threaded nut inside of the baffle. Clamp the long end of the allen wrench into a pair of vise grips and insert the small bent end into the welded nut from the inside of the baffle, but do not extend it past the end of the nut and out the other side. Now pull on the allen wrench. It may only move a little bit. Swap to the opposite nut and pull. Keep going back and forth and slowly work the baffle out. That's how I got mine out but I only had one baffle screw/nut in the baffle and the threads weren't messed up on either baffle when I rewrapped them and put them back in. Good luck!

If you're NEW at this you would better off replacing the headpipes with one thats does have a cat. It takes a lot of patience, work and time to drill out the cat with proper tools and sometimes it could result in damaging the headpipe if you're not extra careful. or you can have someone thats already done it do for you. Hope that was helpful.
