Im going to install a performance machine super gas aircleaner and needed to know if the Dyno tune HD offers is sufficient enough or do I have to purchase a fuel pack or throttle pack. Thanks in advance for any insight. Note: I'm doing this totally for aesthetics
If by a Dyno tune you mean the dealer download, I think it's a waste of money. It won't stop the bike from running lean. Depending on which pipes you have, the FuelPak might do the job. You could also try one of the XIEDs to richen up your mixture, it costs less and is simple to install.

It's the $200.00 tune that Harley offers. As far as exhaust goes I have V&H slipons with original pipes
You made changes to improve the looks and sound of your bike. Why not do something that will greatly improve how it runs? You won't believe how much it will wake up your ride and make it run cooler when you add a good tuner. You might as well send me the $200 for all the good the download will do to get your bike to perform at or close to its best.
Invest in a good tuner. There's tons of info on this site, do a little research and see what sounds good to you. In the end it's your money and you'll do as you like, but I have no doubt that you will be glad you did.
What I need to accomplish is to have my engine run at its peak with a balance between power and economy. So if I can't accomplish that with the hd Dyno tune what brand tuner do you guys recommend to accomplish this. I have no plans of changing my pipes or doing another engine mods.
For economy the xied's are a great way to go. Your bike will run better than stock. There are a lot of people happy with the way there bike runs with them, including me.
Judging by your small avatar picture you have a FXDC and the cats went away with the old exhaust cans? you should add the model and year to your signature
It's a 2011 FXDC. Only mods so far are the grips, pegs mustang seat,V&H straight shots slipons and forward controls. Ordered a Performance Machine SuperGas air cleaner. Which will be to me by the end of week.
Not familiar with which tuners are great and which ones are just so so. Any insight would be welcomed. I know this probably has been covered a million different ways on this forum.
