CEL on then off at start up

CEL on then off at start up
I did a search, but I am mobile and I only found a few older threads that kind of just trail off.
2006 Wide glide. 25,000 miles.
After I start the bike, the check engine light goes out then comes back on for about 10 seconds, then goes back out. The code is P0373. CKP sensor intermittent.
The bike runs great, but I figure it's only a matter of time before it doesn't. Any ideas? Should I just replace the crank sensor now? Thanks all.

if you have a stored/historical code the light will turn on then turn off, you have to clear the code even though you replaced the part. i set a coil code on my sporty when i cranked it over with the coil disconnected and the cel stayed on till i i took the time to clear it.
