another FL'd Dyna...
I'm going to say it is a 2005 or older Wide Glide. The battery tells me the vintage and the long strut covers say bobbed fender in the beginning.

I concur with Rick's assessment that it is '05 or earlier ...
Nice work with the pipes ... also, I like the black rim wheels ...
The round mirrors are a nice touch ...
I think the 'scallop' paint job is a pretty old theme actually ... if some of the details may belie an older vintage ... definitely a nice piece of work ...
Just noticed the late-style Street Glide fender without a tail light ... just the run-turn-brake module for the turn signals ...
Well done ...! Glad you're on the mend and the bike is back up and running ....

Really beautiful. Great scheme too. I've been saying "one of these days" for a while now... I know the switchback was supposed to hit this mark but while I think it is a great bike, yours (and many others here) have really nailed it in my book. Great inspiration.
A really good FL'd Dyna should look like it always was that way. This bike is quality all around. I think the 2005 and older Dyna is the way to go as the rear fender is not so wide and looks much more period correct.
I saw something on you profile about some saddlebags in the future, any more information on that?
I think some black half-moon floorboards would be in order also.
I know you bought the seat second hand, but I actually think the plain seat with no studs was the better choice on this bike.
Did you relocate the shocks on the swingarm?

I'm really liking that green!
I think the shock re-location is genius, look like all it would take is a hole in the swing arm with a threaded bushing welded in for a mounting point. Makes it look like you stuffed a twinky into an old frame.

thanks for the kind words lads, now i'll try to answer a few questions..
its an 02 wide glide, rear fender is an ebay smoothed pan/shovel, took a little cutting, but it was pretty straightforward...
shocks are shovelhead, and i moved them forward on the swing to fit the shovel hardbags, i wanted the shock angle to match the angle on the front of the bags...
i mixed alot of old and new cuz its what i had laying around, or got on the cheep, i've still got some things i'm not satisfied with, but it's june already, so other than a little pinstriping and exhaust, its gonna have to wait til fall....
