I saw something on you profile about some saddlebags in the future, any more information on that?

I think some black half-moon floorboards would be in order also.

I know you bought the seat second hand, but I actually think the plain seat with no studs was the better choice on this bike.

Did you relocate the shocks on the swingarm?

I think the shock re-location is genius, look like all it would take is a hole in the swing arm with a threaded bushing welded in for a mounting point. Makes it look like you stuffed a twinky into an old frame.

its an 02 wide glide, rear fender is an ebay smoothed pan/shovel, took a little cutting, but it was pretty straightforward...
shocks are shovelhead, and i moved them forward on the swing to fit the shovel hardbags, i wanted the shock angle to match the angle on the front of the bags...
i mixed alot of old and new cuz its what i had laying around, or got on the cheep, i've still got some things i'm not satisfied with, but it's june already, so other than a little pinstriping and exhaust, its gonna have to wait til fall....

You fellas don't seem to remember forum member YocumBros. bobber with the shock relocated (had an awesome custom fabbed exhaust, too) ...

... the thread on his build is here ... https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...p-my-fxdb.html

Rattle Traps - THX for the additional pics ... very nice work ...

... looks like you may be using the same fender as me ... or a close approximation ... the closer I look, I am not able to see a hinge ... although it does have the same gromets welded to the forward-most mounting hole (which you are not using either) ... I am guessing you had to make some spacers between the fender and struts ...?

I really like the hand controls ... very minimalistic ...

What exhaust is that you're using ...? Almost looks like the one I am using ... however it looks like it is not quite horizontal (might just be the photos) ... if you need any tips, let me know ... looks like it might take a little tweaking ...

Again ... Bravo Zulu on a righteous sled ... fantastic job ...

Nope, forgot all about that bike! I think this one hits close enough to home that it left more of an impression.
