Hello all,
I'm waiting to get my 11" 412's in the mail for my wifes "07 Street bob. The install seems pretty easy, I'm going to try it without the jack but will have one close by just in case. My main question is; Will I have to readjust my belt tension after I install them? They are 1" lower then stock.
Thanks,
Dave
You have to go to the Progressive site, click on products, click on search and then enter the year/model/make of the bike to get the listing of part numbers. Many of the vendors who sell them haven't updated their information for 06's and 07's. The shocks I just got didn't have an updated sticker on it showing that it fits on my bike, but it does.
What year are you all ordering them for? All I see in 412's is for 05 and down..
I actually called progressive and they guaranteed they would fit my 07 Bob. My question is, do I have to adjust my drive belt tension after putting the 11' shocks on? This is my wife's bike and she can't wait to be able to touch the ground! She has already bought taller boots to wear, If this doesn't work, I'm thinking low profile tire! lol

If you have a specific question about Progressive shocks and their application, email Mark at the following address. He was a good source of very accurate info about specific shocks for my 06 FXDLI.
