i feel the same way, i love the older style fenders with the flair to the end of it, they screwed it up in 2007 on up.

i like the new style wide glides also but i also think they should have given it a different model name...

Ok after reading this thread now I agree a new name would have been better. Still like my bike the way it is tho

It's a Wide Bob, or a Fat Glide.

I do think the new Wide Glide is a beautiful bike, but I am a bit biased towards the old style Wide Glide

Default New wide glide

+1 on the drag bars. My favorite part of the bike. Apes just don't go with the new style. Not a fan of apes much anyway, but not as uncomfortable as I originally imagined after riding my wife's 2004 WG. Really love the new one and the long, low, and mean look. Especially the new back fender. I can't say that I don't like the old style. It has secured it's place in Harley history and is a good looking bike as well. I have the 2010. I was new to Harley when I got it. Rode other's but never a Harley. I just personally never cared for that bob tail fender. I originally had my eye on a Fat Bob, but the fender turned me off. And at time I didn't know enough to realize that you could interchange the two fenders. Anyway, love em or hate em, they're here to stay I think.

Here's to the WG.
