same here...i keep hearing new noises weekly. hitting 7000 miles tomorrow on my WG, dealer said that the shaking was normal...

BUT...check this out.

went to a honda dealer to get an inspection sticker. dude looks at me and the bike like im trying to pull a fast one on him. anyhow, he looks at my front tire, and it looks strange, like a bunch of pringles chips, many dips in the tire. was told that the shaking of my engine is causing my tire to wear like that. i watched the tire on the road...and sure enough, it has a steady bounce. lucky me, i have a new set of tires to put on, but that still doesn't address the excessive shaking. I will be taking the bike in next week to get my bike serviced at 7500, and i will insist that the bike is shaking more than usual...we shall see if they listen to me. there is no reason my WG should shake more than my 01 sportster with the hard mounted engine...i hate this feeling.

Nice to see I'm not the only one having this issue.

Even with a warranty, you still need to make sure whatever is wrong is made right. There us no way to argue a dealer unless you have proof. Man, I don't get the whole "I have a warranty so I shouldn't have to touch it". Go through life relying on others to do things for you and see where it gets you.
If you pay for a warranty, you should be able to rely on the people who provide it to address the issues with the product. I have a friend in PA who has a 2010 Honda Goldwing. It had some serious issues with low mileage. He took it to 3 dealers and no fix, the fourth dealer gave him a wing to ride until they figured the issue out. THAT is customer service. It took months to find and fix the issue and he racked up a lot of miles on the loaner, but there were no questions asked and he got his bike back just like it should be. Keep backing down from what you deserve and see where THAT gets you in life. I'm not letting up on the warranty issues. I'll get my way. I never back down, I'll find a way to make the MoCo make it right.

If you want your bike fixed...find out what's wrong yourself, then bring it in to have the work done under warranty.

Warranty or not, it's not their bike so I'd never trust a shop to take as good care of it or be as thorough with it as I would be with my own.

Either take responsibility for your own ride or make good on your offer to go back to riding jap so that some other forum has to deal with your bitching.

Obviously reading comprehension is not your strong suit. I have checked everything that I could check without taking anything apart. You seem to think that reading one line in a reply is enough to assume the rest of what is written. Being born and raised in NJ, I can see how you think you know everything, but it doesn't apply here. Look for a fight somewhere else bubba.

You don't like what you're reading, read another thread. Don't act like a bitch in mine. It's not my problem to find the problem, it's theirs, that's what they are paid for. People like you contribute to shoddy customer service. I don't know what you do for a living, but I'm damn sure if it has anything to do with a product, then you make sure it's right for the customer, and if you don't then you are one of the sad reasons for poor American quality that we deal with nowadays. I put my heart and soul into what I build so that the customer has no complaints and if they do I fix it until it's right. I don't have to make my welds perfect for the product, but I make damn sure they are, quality makes SENSIBLE people believers in a product. So does good customer service.

Have you ever bought anything for your bike that didn't fit right, look right or work right? Did you send it back or did you just deal with it? If you sent it back, did you believe it should have been made better for your money or repaired right and returned? If not, I'd like to see all of the expensive things that you still own that you keep because you like to waste money.
