I adjusted the clutch per the manual that I have. It calls for 1/2-3/4 clearance and then tighten the nut. I set it at the 1/2 inch clearance. Does it matter if you set it at 1/2 or 3/4? I'm thinking truck because you set them at the smaller and they wear to the larger. It works fine, just wondering.
No buddy it is 1/2 to 3/4 turn not inch!you loosen the cable completely hold the allen screw while you loosen the lock nut. holding the nut you turn the allen screw in until it just barley makes contact, then turn the screw back 1/4 to 3/4 turn, hold the allen screw (don't let it move) and re-tighten the locknut, then adjust your cable.
Edit = I'm guessing you knew that and just made a type-o. Good morning to you ! I can't help wondering how RLE's clutch is though!!

OK coffee in and breakfast down. 2010 FXDC. Do all the manual says to the point of 1/2 to 1 turn out and tighten the nut. Now that the readers are found I am setting it at 3/4. If I can remember.

my clutch works great, why do you wonder? I went 3/4 round. Manual states 1/2 to 1. I went right in the middle.
