2006 backfiring, sputtering, fouling plug, etc

Default 2006 backfiring, sputtering, fouling plug, etc

stage one was done when i bought it, Ran good for first 3 years. It will run for months at a
time without a problem then the bike will spit, sputter, and backfire
running on front cylinder only. Hot weather, cold weather, hot bike and
cold bike. i confirmed this when i pulled over while it was doing this and
removed the rear spark plug wire. it continued to run the same. The
throttle response is great when sputtering.
2009
replaced sparkplugs and wires
swapped coil with known good one
replaced crank position sensor
replaced throttle position sensor
swapped temp sensor with known good one
checked battery with dvm while running and while sputtering, never changed
12.5 volts to 14.5
cleaned ground cables
checked rear injector wire for break, ok
2010
bike started doing this for long times, was
getting "no combustion rear cylinder code" stans hd replaced the cpu and
intake gaskets-ran good going to ellicotville,ny the next day but then ran
bad all the way home, problem went away the next day for most of the
summer. short spurts of this problem.
2011 ran good till fall then started again.
2012 replaced spark plugs - ran good for a couple of weeks then started
again while riding around town.
cycle stop hd replaced 8 degree injectors with 25 degree.n.g.
I'm at a loss as to what to check next.

Mine did that, but it also threw a code for a failed o2 sensor. Ran like crap, fouled out the plug, and was running very rich. Went to "limp" mode.

Smile Fixed it

Swapped the rear o2 sensor with another bike and problem went away. Ran over 400 miles without a problem. Bike never threw a code for o2 sensor just 1356- no combustion rear cylinder.
