i'm 5'11 and run 14s from burly and that is perfect for me. fat bob brad has the right idea though, get some tubing and make a mock set up to check what height will work best for you.
I went with wild 1's 12.5' chubby apes. HD measures overall hgt., but others measure just the bar. With my stock 2.5" risers and the wild 1's, I am net 16"
yet a bud bought heritage bars that claim to be 12" and he is overall net,12" including the same risers.
I'm also 6' with long arms, here's a couple pics and they come up right between my shoulders and heart. At that hgt., i have no issues with hands falling asleep. Don't forget to take into consideration the width and pullback.
Sit on your bike and hold a broom handle or something similar at the height that feels good. Have someone measure down to the inside of the riser. That should get you really close to what you want. I'm 5'7" and 14"s are at shoulder height on my '10 street bob.
i am 6ft tall and i just put some 17 inch todds cycle apes with the stock fatbob risers which i think are 5 inches and love them my hands are just a little over my shoulders though
