Default Difference in brake rotors?

I'm looking at buying an FXDF garage queen and wonder what the difference is between the '08 rotors on the Fat Bob and the rotors on my '01 T-Sport as far as fitment? I have Lyndals on the T and will probably have to strip as much as possible off before I sell the T-Sport. Anyone???

It is so...I like the bike more than any other ride ever but it's time for something "newer" for my long road trips...hard to get support for this one if needed when a long way from home.

The front rotors on the '06 and later Dyna's are 11.8" and I believe the '05 and earlier models use 11.5" front rotors.

I worry about the same thing, but I think I'll just let myself worry and keep riding lol.

Eventually I'll get a Street Glide and turn the FXDX into a major hotrod with a 124 or 131

hey Sharkey, not to derail your thread, but I am curious.....isn't your ride a Twin Cam? What issues do you anticipate that you would have in finding service for your bike?

I know guys who have Evo FXRs that they will never part with....but they also do a lot of their own wrenching. I, on the other hand, will not even attempt to do any engine work. Everything else is fair game, but not engines .... that's like a different language to me.
