Default i want to replace my Tranny
i ride a 1985 Dyna FXWG. It has a 4 speed with a kicker came stock on the bike. Im thinking about replaceing the tranny i would like a 5 or even a 6 speed tranny. My question is can i get a newer HD5/6 speed and will it just bolt up? Or what would i need to change out my tranny? Money like in every thing is a issue. but if anyone can offer any helpfull or advice thank u so much.

Do a baker 6 in a 4 upgrade. Or the 5 in a 4. Check into it.

Well a twincam one won't work. I believe the four speed has a different mounting to the inner primary than the five speed

Is it less than a new tranny? I really don't know as I've not been in that position yet.
