600mi from home loss of power help!

I had spares and plenty of tools, I'm ALWAYS prepared! I changed out the plugs as soon as got up in the morning,and cleaned out my fuel filter as well.Thing is it still didn't feel right to me it was a little sluggish.Turns out I was noticing the slight loss in power from the difference in elevation above sea level from my house to where I was at.I didn't know that part of the desert where I was vacationing was so high (2700-3000 feet) while back home I am at about 20 feet.As soon as I got lower in elevation the bike ran like it should again!

As far as the wise *** "happily ever after" comment...I was merely giving props to a shop who still knew how to treat a customer.In the chance someone found themselves in that neck of the woods. No need for douche baggery...
