Thinking about different options on the speedo for Susie....I wonder if it's possible to go to a smaller speedo mounted somewhere new, like above the horn where you can look down and see it. Like my idiot lights....they make that bracket for T-bars where you can put your speedo in there....I guess you could drill holes and mount the idiot light in the housing around the speedo...... really like the idea of getting the speedo off of the handlebar clamps. I remember that there's a copmpany that makes a digital gauge set that in the end cap of 6 inch straight risers.....anybody else have any ideas?
It's not really a pretty picture
Been trying to figure it out for a few weeks now.
Digital replacements are expensive, and as you have found, there are a few expensive tbar options, but the idiot lights seem to be forgotten.
Right now I'm resigned to probably just keep it as is and replace the housing with a chrome one off FXDCI.
This will limit bar options, and I know it doesn't answer you question - but it all I got ..

Pull the fuel gauge out and put a Dakota Digital mini round speedo in it's place. The hole may need to be enlarged but that'sfairly easy to do. Get piece of thin plateand mount it between the handlebar clamp and the risers. You may need to remove some material from the clamp depending on the thickness of the plate you use. Drill the plate to take some warning lights etc,add touch of paint and your done. Did'nt look to closely at the pic of your bike but moving the turn signals and running your switch wiring inside the bars willreally clean the front end up too.
