You were right it was a tight fit. Up and down fit great with lots of room. From side to side it was tight, I had to bend the mounting bracket a little and then it all fit right into place.

I first taped up the whole console, so not to get it scratched. My dremell battery was dead, so I used my cordless jigsaw with a metal blade and worked VERY slow. The existing bracket worked fine, but I had to bend it in a couple of places so the display woulkd fit in between.
Might be a few more weeks before I can answer that question (Connecticut) ...I don't think it will be a problem because I had a nice tight fit...actually had to push them into the holes.
