And I thought I was the only one. I mean, I've been hit by everything from sand, grain, little bugs, big bugs... Cheeks busted, welted throat, ect... I expect that. Few weeks ago, on the way home from work, I just topped the entrance ramp to the freeway when I caught a bee IN a nostril.. Of course I got stung... But that wasn't the end... My damn nose been killin me since, so I had it looked at... duh... That damn thing left the stinger...

What really sucks if finding out you are allergic to bee venom after you are stung in the middle of nowhere.

yeah, i didnt take that into consideration. that would REALLY suck.

Years ago I hit a bee or wasp doing about 80. Hurt like a ****. When I got home the stinger was still in my neck.

I was stung in the throat riding past some beehives in St. George, UT, after returning home hours later I was shocked to find the stinger still in my throat, right above the shirt line. Thank God I'm not allergic. P.S. beards are perfect bug catchers.
