So you think I'm outta' whack somewhere? I think your right, I was kinda in new toy hurry yesterday, probably just missed something small, which in turn makes a huge problem later

Yep, Just go back thru, check all tensions, tube height, and like I mentioned tire/balance, see if you lost a weight or something...
should balance out...
Also Im sure the kit tells you, but make sure the tube pinch bolts are loose when you tighten the stem (neck), then tighten the pinch bolts. Will avoid any slop in the neck...
I also swapped to chrome spacers, from HD, and still had to shim with a couple washers...

Yep...You were right Larry, just had to tighten that neck nut (skinny one that held down the bearing and dust cover to the neck) placed the top tree on, torqued it all down and viola' problem solved. The steering is a little stiff, but I know there is a bit of a wear in, and I know I'm not too tight, but I'll do a fall away test today after a few miles and then adjust.....rideslike a mid glide, looks like a wide glide....... Now it's time for that 21" tire!

Sweet!
Yea there is a little break in... Ironically I just tightened my neck yesterday.
Since I did the bearings a few months back all was well, but I wanted to be sure it was tight so I rechecked it yesterday...
