two strange noises comin from bike please help

Default two strange noises comin from bike please help
the first sound is coming from what sounds like the front cylinder head it is like a rattle. it does it while just at idle an while ridin. any idea what these could be?


the second sound is when i shut the bike off, when it is off for about 3 to 5 seconds it will make a burb sound from the "points" cover area. ??????
thanks in advance for any help

if u have not already i would check my tank mount bolts

Then check your heat shields. And then grab every part you can and see if there is anything loose.

Rattling fuel cap! Mine did that. Took me forever to find it. Thought I had an issue in the motor like rocker arms rattling. Next time it makes that noise put your finger on the cap and see if it stops. Had a loose license plate that made a weird vibe and a buddy saw it moving. Also check the shift linkage for a loose joint. Check the rubber bumper for the kick stand too. Good luck. Hope this helps.

On my second one and it rattles too but now I ignore it.

You can fix your fuel caps but flipping it over and using a hammer and flat head screw driver or something similar to crimp the chrome cap in a few areas to put a little pressure on the underlying assembly. I read that on here long ago, tried it, and it worked -- not sure who's idea it was...
