It helps to tell people how tall you are in addition to the size of your bars. I am 6'6 and trying to find out what size apes to get to have my hands even with my shoulders are a tad bit lower.

Have you considered 11" Santee Apes? Love mine, but wish I would've gone to the 12.5" Wild-1's.
(I'm a towering 5'9"...)

10.5" fat minis on 3.5" risers. I'm 5'9". Internally wired, and +4 Barnett cables. Not worth trying stretch your stock stuff to fit.

I am 5'7 and went with 14 inch Santees with 3.5 inch risers.

Cheers,

Tom

I'm also 5'7" and had 16" x 1 1/4" Wild1 apes on my StreetBob. I just installed 16" x 1 1/2" Drag Specialties Buffalo Apes on my '11 Deluxe. I think 16's would fit ya just fine. But, your best bet would be to find a few bikes with different bars on them and see if the owner will let ya sit on the bike. One other point, the bars need to point straight up when installed. If not then they look like ****.

I'm 5'8" and installed 12" narrow apes on my 2011 SGC. I wish I had gone with 14's. I may install slightly taller risers(I have stock risers right now). I don't like the crazy tall apes, but I think the 12's are a hair short.
