I ordered a HD 57070-98 quarter fairing over a month ago. I finally picked it up and installed it. Best thing I've done to do the old Defender so far. When I first rode the bike without the fairing on the coast doing about 70+ I felt like I was going fly off the back. Felt like the world was pressing on my chest. Coming from the bagger side, I hadn't ridden a non fairing bike in awhile. Now I can do 80-90 comfortably. Now I got to get rid of the high speed wiggle. Like I said best thing you can do to a Dyna if you want to go long distances.
+1 I rode mine over 300 miles when I first got it. I put a 1/4 fairing on it asap. Makes a world of diff. Good to know I can do that to the windshield lol. Never knew that ha.
I also need to get rid of the wobble, I'm thinking steering damper.

can you post a pic of you wearing your SAMCRO shirt with it?!?!?!?!?!?
that damn show is a mans soap opera and I love it. However this fairing (unlike what most of them use) is actually pretty functional. And I stuck my speakers in there w.o anyone knowing.

I know I love it too. My 14 year old daughter got my the reaper shirt for my bday, but I will only wear it around the house.
I just had to give him hell cause he actually LIVES in Cali
True track. It was instantly the best mod I have done. After the first ride, you realize what the bike is supposed to handle like. No wobble, on a rail.
I thought the 1/4 fairing was all about looks. Checked out a few bikes on runs, etc. talked to the owners and found out they actully are functional I'm going to try a Roadawgz windshield on it. They sit a couple inches higher.
