I'm not positive because I haven't made any changes yet (haven't picked up the bike yet). BUT, I've been told that you can go to a 200 without any other changes. If you put the 200 on the original wheel, obviously it will be more "packed in". Anyway, anything bigger than that and you will have to change the fender, swingarm, etc. to make it fit. I apologize if anyone that's done it has better info.

Eh. The 200 rear on my Fat Bob doesn't really look any different than the 180 that was on there.

I think when it gets pinched in onto a smaller rim it pretty much negates the width benefit. Now I just have wider strips of unused tread at the edges of the tires.

Best to go to a 5.5" or 6" rim for a 200

Yeah if you're going to go 200, need a 5.5 rim or bigger like said above. The word is the Metz or Avon will fit though.

There are alot of Fat Bobs running a 200 rear on the stock wheel. Which is 5" I think. Mine included. I was just saying for the extra cost it visually looks no different than a 180. Wish I woulda saved my money and just stayed with the 180.

If I were running a 200 I'd need a 5.5" rim. The stock 5" rim is just too narrow to run a 200 for me.

I have a 2007 FXDC with 160 rear tire. Thought of getting the 180 but one day I had a flat on the 160. Two of us could barely get the bike out of the garage because of the width increase. I don't know what I'd of done with even a 180. I'd also hate to think of that problem on the road.

Just something to think about. That was only the 2nd flat in 40 years of riding. It was just a small screw too. You never know. I'm staying with the 160

Yeah not as much difference going from a 180 to a 200 but the 200 looks awesome where the160 was on mine
The 200's vary in width too, Metz is wider than the Avon
