Does anyone know of a source other than the HD catalog ? Their selection is skimpy and very expensive. Example:$69 for a pair of plain stamped mirrors. The J & P catalog is even worse.
You could compare prices to Zanotti's http://www.zanottimotor.com/index.html
Or if your dealer has any specials go there and check them out. My dealer had 15% off most parts today.
How about Ebay?
Happy Hunting!
Agree - Zanontti prices are rock-bottom. eBay is good and there is always your local powder coater for just about any part; my personal favorite. Had my shock springs and fender struts done for $70.00 (thru a HD dealer, no lie), including dis/reassembly of both shocks.
i'm assuming ou live in Tampa Florida? I took my parts to the local powdercoater. I will tell you it was a pain to take all the parts off jst to get them powdercoated but it looks great now. I took mine to the guy off Bearrs. plus I did alot of the little parts at my buddies house. I took the Rocker covers, andforward controls to him.I will have pix up soon.
Man, all this talk of newly coated parts is depressing me! I have a @#$%load of crinkle-black items sitting on my bench but can't turn a wrench - not 'til my shoulder mends from surgery ( I tried earlier this morning - ouch!!!) ...oh well, new pics towards the end of February.
Well **** man I don't want for you to just sit around looking at all those parts getting depressed you put them all in a box and I'll hit you up with my adress. LOL
Are thoseblack SEIIs? SWEET!!!! Just had my heat shields coated an was thinkin' 'bout painting my slip ons...Can't do the wrap thang out here in the boonies - too much dirt and mud flying up from the roads!
