I was at my local dealer, and found a super deal on a 2012 Super Glide, they gave me a good trade in value, and 15% discount on parts, and I can't wait to pick it up. Then the mods can begin, I will be rolling alot of these mods into the loan, so I need to give the dealer a list. I hate the stock bars, I do like the bars on the Street Bob, and I definitly need forward controls. The other stuff will just be added bling. Does anyone know the specs on the Street Bob Bars? Will they be taller on a Super Glide do to the stock risers?

congrats!! thats a good looking bike. yes the bars will be taller. the cables will probably have to be changed too. not 100% sure on that.

AGREED!!!! I was given a Street Bob for a loaner while my Night Rod was getting some warranty work done, And I fell in love with it. The loaner had the mini apes, and forward controls. I just couldn't get over the bobbed fender and that horrible taillight. IMHO

Bob bars are 10 inch. 12 inch is a nice reach if you don't want to go full ape.

 

Do all years use the 10 inch bars? And are all years internally wired?
