Bike was actuallyfairley warm still like going normal warm up before checking oil but the plugs look good I'm also wondering if it might be related to the loud valve train noise I've gotten all summer especially after bike is nice and hot that the dealer says is "normal"

has to do with fuel injection. its a problem on honda crf 450 mx bikes. its when they sit for awhile. gas tends to leak into the crank case. its not a problem uless you really start to get alot in the crank case

You do get a little crankcase blow-by from the rings when the motor is cold. Do you always warm up your bike before you ride? Just a thought

Don't warm it up for more than a min or 2 but haven't
Had this problem in the past 3 years I've owned it

unless its a strong gas smell i wouldnt worry about it. my bike has it too. my truck has it. along with some other family vehicles.
