Default Bike sputtering

Hi I have an 07 SB that I just picked up about a month ago, lately I've noticed at lower speeds, low gears that it kind of sputters/misses not sure how exactly explain it when I keep throttle steady, any ideas what it could be?

Check your battery connection... I know it sounds silly but it's EFI and if that negative cable is even slightly loose it makes the bike cut in and out... personal experience after a few negative post meltdowns... my SB was notorious for shaking the battery terminal fasteners loose!

Stock except for forward controls, and just put on V&H slip ons with big city thunder monster baffles. But the bike started doing this before putting the slip ons

Try the simplest thing first and if that doesn't yield any results by all means come back and post away. I just had this experience with my 2007 SB and finally just got tired of it backing the damn negative cable out and I changed that thing twice! Now I'm much happier with my Switchback:-)

I think you may be describing some low speed surging. If so it's normal. At slow speeds and steady throttle mine will surge a little.

Mine ran the same way until I put a tuner on it. The surging was annoying, not the reason for the tuner, and getting it to run smoother was an added bonus to the power increase.
