Harley sold them in the 90's and was looking at one on Ebay. They slip over the oil cooler and claim to reduce oil temp by 20 degrees with each pass of oil. Anyone have one of these? Does it work?
They act like a heat sink. I used to run one, many years ago. I experience maybe a 5 degree drop or so.
NRHS sell a reusable oil filter that also doubles as a heat sink. Added benefits are you don't ever have to buy another oil filter, increased power to rear wheel because of less being used by the oil pump, and better filtering of the oil.
I put one on my 103 earlier this summer, was pretty amazed at how well it worked. Going to be getting one for my Sporty.

I looked at those a while back and was a little concerned about the filtering ability. The system you use does in fact work pretty well as an oil cooler? How about cleaning the filter? Any pics of the inside of filter by any chance?

The seller claims they do, but I've never read where any user said they did. My oil temp is normally 210-220 here whether around town or on the highway.

There are plenty of reviews on how it filters better than the paper elements.
I have not taken a picture of mine, but below is a pic I found on the net.
I purchased mine to get some extra cooling and to not have to continually purchase oil filters.
I am seeing about a 10* benefit in the cooling.
I was really surprised by the extra power. I was not expecting it, and have not had it on a Dyno since installing. But my "butt dyno" says it is there. lol
Give Dan at NRHS a call, he is very helpful and answered all the questions I had when I called.
Here's a chart I found on the net, showing the gained HP/TQ with one of these units.
