Default Mustang Vintage Solo

Got a great deal on a used Mustang Vintage solo and decided to give it a try. I like it and am wondering what the rear pillion is like. Thinking about giving that a try as well.

The solo seat is the narrow version. #76107.

Thinking about adding the nine inch wide pillion. #76109. (it's the smaller version.)

I measured the area between the rear of the solo and the detachable backrest and am wondering if the #76109 pillion will fit.

Anyone using this setup on a Fatbob? Does the pillion fit without a lot of compression from the backrest bracket?

I bought the rear-passenger seat after I bought the solo. No problems with installation and the pillion gives a bit of back-support too. Pics posted are old, but maybe helpful.....

I love mine,it improved the comfort level 100%. I bought the smaller passenger seat and ended up selling it and buying the bigger one so my wife would be more comfortable. The bigger seat also improved my comfort because it provides some low back support.

What bike do you ride RAWHIDE07?

Was hoping someone who has a fat bob and uses a detachable backrest would tell me how the rear seat fits between the backrest side brackets.

My bike doesn't have the detachable backrest.

I have the regular passenger seat on my wide glide, and the detachable back rest fits fine. The old lady would like the wide seat though.

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but does anyone have a Mustang seat they installed on a 2012 FXDC and have a picture of it. Does it generally sit lower than the stock seat as well?
