The FXDP stand is $165 from Surdyke. That makes the aluminum piece added to the stand look like great option. Thanks for the info.

I don't know if the FXDP is any longer. The FXDX one certainly is not. My bike leans more than I like. I do the same thing as posted above with a 2x4 when its in the garage. I always have to park it with higher ground on the stand side. Sometimes it feels like its going to go over.

The 1/2" aluminum extension cost me about $20 total. Would have been less if I hadn't burned up a couple of high speed bits before switching to a masonary bit. I put a thin layer of epoxy between it and the jiffy stand just to make sure it would not go anywhere. Make sure you pick up a cobalt tipped masonary bit to drill the holes in the jiffy stand, it willeat up anything else. Low RP and plenty of cutting oil.

I used it all season with no problems.

You will leave a trace of shiny aluminum on rough surfaces if you drag it.
