The previous owner of my bike had 2" over forks on it. The jiffy stand has a hole drilled in it on the bottom. I'm assuming he attached something to the stand to give it more length. Maybe just stuck a bolt through it...
That hole is for a Jiffy Stand extension 50214-98A so it is easier to lower the kick stand with your boot. It does not however extend the kickstand to support the bike.
Here's a copy of some info I posted in another thread.
I know that FXDP models -compared to the FXD models- have 2" over stock inner fork tubes and have longer rear shocks as well, Steve.
You might try the 49710-94B jiffy....
To OP. I have a stock FXDP. I'd be glad to carefully measure & post up the dimensions on the stock jiffy if you'd like.
Personally, I think it's way too short for a stock FXDP! I keep a piece of 2X6 under it to keep the bike from leaning over so far at home. Otherwise, it looks like it's gonna fall over!
I put 13" shocks on my Fat Bob and had the same problem. My fix was to add 1/2" of aluminum to the bottom of the jiffy stand. Search my posts, I started a thread about it:
