Works great on my Street Slammers.
I figured it would catch all kinds of road crap mounted on the downtubes.

I had mine on the lower triple for about a year and finally took it off to replace it.What I found is that my lower triple clamp was horribly pitted. Now I just carry it in one of my saddle bags.I had another bag mounted on the bottom of the down tubes it was too hard to get stuff in and out of and it was always filthy.

Also, some of those fork bags have a single strap that holds them to the bike. One day, that strap will break.

Get some leather shoelace or something, make some backup ties for the bag so if the strap does break, the bag stays there.

Talking Aw, HECK, guys....

...my toolkit is in my left saddlebag. No trouble at all there!
