Update on the SB,
Dealer unable to fix issue bike on its way to Head office? Replaced with a 13.
Very happy with support from dealer and HD in general. New bike running fine.

Every bike I've seen that has had it's oil changed at my local HD dealer has been overfilled. I've talked to them about this and they insist on putting exactly what is says in the manual and do not compensate for the oil that didn't come out.

I guess that is why I do ALL MY OWN MAINTENANCE. I just hate shelling out between 2 to 300 for a oil change when I can do it all myself. Unless there is something major and so far I haven't had that issue I do everything myself except my tires and I will go to an Indy for that

Hmmmm.. could've been alot of things... blowbuy from overfill... poor ring seat and blowby that way.. a budy of mine just had to have his umbrella valves replaced due to wear.. but only after 25K hard miles.. (he's an idiot) .. but jeez thats a brand new bike.. Oh well ... glad to see they just gave you a new scoot.. disposable world..
