16" front wheel on a Streetbob

Has anyone tried to use a 48 sportster 16" front wheel on a Streetbob? I would like to switch wheels to get that fat look in front but I don't want to modify my 19" stock wheel hub to do it.

There's quite a few on here have put a 16" front wheel on, do a bit of digging round

I'm going to get a 17" rim on the front same as the rear and laced to the original front hub.

I don't think a 48 wheel will be a direct bolt-on. Narrow glide vs. Mid-Glide forks. I'm sure that you can make it work with some combination of spacers, but you need to verify that the axles are the same diameter.

i asked my dealer a similar question the other day. i wanted to know if a 13 spoke sportster front wheel off a 2012 sporty would fit my 2012 dyna. they gave me a simple answer. no.

I just laced a 16" wheel hoop to my stock hub. If you go this route there are no other modifications needed, unless you want to run a fender. I started a couple threads on the process, you'll have to do a search for them, I'm on my phone otherwhise I could be a little more helpful.
