The stock bars on an FXDC are about the most comfortable bars I have ever seen. I think doing the forward controls will make it all better for you. I wouldn't change anything else until you have done that & put some miles on it. I did the same thing to mine when new and it's super comfy with the stock bars & stock seat. I'm close to your dimensions...6'1" & 210.

OP, you may consider the new footboard kit that are the same as the Switchback footboards. I did that and love them on my WideGlide.
