Default It doesn't fit!

I have a new to me 2011 Dyna Super Glide Custom. I love the look of the bike but it does not fit me very well. Everything is stock evcept V and H slip on's and a Q/R windshield and bags. I'm 6'2'' and 190 lbs. When rideing for more than an hour my neck and hips start to hurt. What would you recomend as the best bang for the buck mods to make me more comferable. I would also like to add some hp and tourqe, where should I start?

Loosen the handle bar risers and try a few different positions. Sit on the bike, close your eye's and put your hands up to where you think is comfortable and move bars to match.

I changed out bars to street bob bars, forward controls, and a mustang seat with backrest and it made a world of difference

Along with the forwards...try to buy some fat bob handlebars and risers. You can find them used for 75-100.

Wait until your comfortable before doing performance upgrades. You want to make surte its the bike for you before you spend another 1500 bucks on it

I am 6'2 190, I have a 2012 Street Bob and find the mini apes to be very comfortable for my height. I have the badlanders seat and my a$$ goes numb after an hour so can't help you there sorry.

You need taller bars. When your neck or back hurst it is due to how you are grabbing the bars usually. I like t bars, but street bob bars or mini apes or apes will work too. I think the seat might help as well. Your seating position can change with a different seat which will in turn affect all of the other things I have mentioned as well.

Forwards for the hips, apes for the neck... then enjoy the ride.
