Yep, I have to say I lean towards American made stuff anytime I can. Even if it costs more and especially when its a small company.

What else keeps the American economy in business? I'll pay more for made in the USA any day of the week.

Yeah, now only if I could talk myself into a S&S Super E setup over the Mikuni HSR I could keep my engine build all American made also.

I just have a hard time giving up any performance in this department.

OK, here I will concede a small patch of ground, Mikuni makes awesome carbs no doubt there.

But for me personally, living in California with so many great aftermarket companies who make parts right here in the USA, it's an easy choice for me to buy their product.

Yeah my point was more i'll try to make them at school in my welding classes since I don't have a lot of cash right now. I love to buy american quality made stuff just can't afford it right now and i'll try to make it myself with some steel tube 1 1/2-2" and the stock pegs without the rubber and some skate grip from a local boardshop. But yeah i'll definatly buy some deathsquad stuff when i'll have the cash

Doing my mid control conversion on Tuesday.

Bars will have to wait, family priorities come first.

Been awhile since I updated this thread.

So here goes it;

Finally got my mid controls put on last month. Powder coated everything.

Got my vanity plate from the DMV.

Bought a Kuryakn curved lay down license plate holder and had that and a battery box and timer cover coated as well. I don't like Kuryaken products, but a plate holder is minimal.

Just ordered a Custom Dynamics integrated brake/turn signal smoked taillight and load equalizer. Should be here early next week.

Also should be doing my bars in the next couple of weeks. I've been working on the East Coast for the past month, so the extra cash comes in handy.

How do you like the feel of those pegs compared to the stocks? I've been thinking of different peg ideas lately.
