Hello Robin...how's my ex? Why don't you undo the bars from the risers, stick a wood spacer between, zip tie, then rotate side to side and see if the cables have enough length? That may help you decide if there's enough there for the taller bars...

Thanks, I'll go over to Harley techtalk and get a link from their as well. I am actually going to break down and take my Dyna top a buddy who has a shop for this pesky oil leak that is killing me this weekend as I am not okay with a bike that always marks its territory. Have you noticed a difference with the ignition and do you think it was worth it?

Yes that's the one, I have not installed it yet, access to the adjustments is not possible after it is installed so I'm looking into theUSB Interface so I can adjust it once it is in, I'll let you guys know once it is installed.

I just read the FAQ's on the Daytona site. http://www.daytona-twintec.com/tech_tc88.html
It seems as if I will have to run teh test with unplugging the coil and plugging it back in to see if this will solve my problem or if I need compression releases. My bike is at home as it going to rain today.

I haven't installed the bars yet, and I'm about 100% positive I need wiring extensions, new cables, etc. Stock cables aren't going to stretch that far.

There is tons of wire inside the frame so I doubt you will need that. You have to pull it out by hand.

Just found the infamous 33872-00 part in Indiana at an HD dealer. This part is obsolete.

The part number changed to a -06 number, however that is incorrect for pre 2006 Dynas.

If anyone is looking for a '91-'05 shift linkage with Heim joints here is a list from a dealer search I pulled from another site. Yes, it was expensive $84 before shipping.
