Hey guys, new to the forums. I've soaked up a lot of good information lurking around, reading. Now it is my time to ask a question...........
I picked up an '07 FXDB. Loving the hell out of it.
I'm noticing an ever so slight push/pull feel as I maintain a constant speed below 35 mph. Above that speed, it's not perceptible. During acceleration also not perceptible. Almost feels like a light firing issue except engine sounds and feels strong. I was thinking primary drive belt perhaps? What do you guys think?

Almost sounds like surging, do you have open pipes and performance air cleaner, if so then it might be running a little lean and needs the stage 1 downloal, could also be a vacuum leak at the pipes or intake
Welcome to the forum.
It's surging. That's because it's running lean. Came from the factory that way. If the bike is stock, you might get some relief from one of the XEID's. If it's not stock, the tuner needs to be tweaked. Whaddya got in the way of mods?
Hey guys thanks for the responses. It's got a stock air cleaner with Vance and Hines slip ons. Just picked it up used, so dont know what its tuning histody is. Behavior is present at high rpms as well. Runs mightily once you get to freeway speeds.
Full stage 1 and retune seems to be a no brainer from the sound of it. That stock aircleaner is ugly anyway!

Offtopic, Nevil I love the front fender of yours. Where'd you find that?
