Test the hell out of yourself... make sure your health is 100%. Things that aren't so bad today... seem to come up later on in life.. so be the squeaky wheel and say sumpthin.
I manned up way too many times in my early years... paying like crazy for them now. glad yer alrite!!
I know this thread is from a little bit ago, but glad your ok man. Bike doesn't look to bad, but it can be fixed. It sucks that people do not pay attention as they should. I get tired mentally after a long ride just because I am always always checking around me..
First of all thank you for your service. Second you owe a big thanks to your guardian angel for allowing you to live to ride another day. That being said, I am an accident attorney who deals with these situations on a regular basis amd here is some free advice. Rule #1 NEVER talk to the other driver's insurance company without first speaking to an attorney (everything you say can and will be used against you). Rule #2 seek medical attention and not just from a hospital. As far as the hospital is concerned if you are not broken or internally bleeding you are fine. See a chiropractic physician and possibly an orthopaedic surgeon (they will look for bone alignment, ligament injuries and also possible disk injuries, which can and will deteriorate over time). Rule #3 never settle until you know the full extent of your injuries. Rule #4 talk to an attorney and protect your rights. Hopefully you are fine, your bike gets fixed and you have no future medical problems but if something is wrong but not properly documented you could be SOL. This is not an attempt at solicitation, just some advice for a fellow rider. Be well.
