Now if I do 4-5 key revalations they don't work and the speedo doesn't show mileage. Any ideas?
Has the bike been lowered?? Could have scraped some wires under the rear fender

Default Wires

You have a pinched or shorted wire somewhere and it is usually in the handlebars after they are changed...but it can also be under the rear fender as someone said earlier.

Corrosion. My 2007 has corrosion behind the fuse box, which wouldnt let the bike start, and also the switch on the tank.

Handlebars were replaced a year and a half ago but I am going to look for a short somewhere past the switches to start
