Default Detachable saddlebag supports

I would like to use throw-over type saddlebags on my 2004 Super Glide. However, I do not like the looks of the saddlebag supports that remain. I would like some supports that are quick detachable. So far I have not been able to find any in the numerous catalogs I have searched. I also have a quick detachable backrest/luggage rack from HD so any supports would have to work with that. Anybody have any suggestions or know where I can find these supports?

http://easybrackets.com/products/harley_davidson.htm

Give these a shot, I have the system on a Suzuki Volusia, and it works great. When I get My HD in the Spring, it's going to be one of the first things I get. You can get better prices than this site, but it does show the product. Hope this is what you need!

DO NOT use the "Ghost Bracket" system. I bought the system for my Wide Glide. Not very easy and nothing that they sent me fit. I had to modify the complete bracket ( both sides) and make my own bolts. Pretty sad considering I have Harley bags and not some custom made stuff. They had no clue ( I contacted Ghost Brackets ).

They work, but you might want to try Easy brackets or something else.

I talked to the HD dealer about saddlebag supports. The counterman said that HD doesn't make supports any longer because HD bags are now rigid and self-supporting. He suggested that I get supports custom made if that is what I want. I see that some of you have made reference to after market products. I need to look into those.

[color=#990033]I have just ordered the Bare back system; http://www.cyclevisions.com/barebacks.html, They appeared to be the least hassle and will allow my Low rider to be more sporty on a whim and make it easier to clean. I've also ordered the chrome dress caps. All the systems looked good, but these seemed more practical

Using the Bare Backs here and it works great. Gives me the choice of bags or not in seconds.

If you want a good set of aftermarket removable brackets look into easy brackets they install rite onto the bag and there is nothing left when you take them off very good product

I've used the Bare Backs and the Easy Brackets and they both work fine. The easy brackets give you more support and they have a lock on them, but are bulkier.
