Have you considered 2012 Switch Back floor boards? I installed them on my 08 FXDF and am very happy with them.
HD has them as a kit in their accessory catalog.
Yes I have the mid controls. Do you have to just pull the primary cover or the inner primary cover also and why?

The install is almost identical to doing forwards except you have foot boards to bolt up as well. The mids go through your primary.

It would be nice to install without removing the covers. Is that possible?

Ive got a 2003 FXD the parts book says 2006 and later.
Anyone know why I put them on my 2003???
