Hi ... I have a 2010 Dyna Wide Glide and am looking at getting some saddlebags. I do like the HD version but they are scarey expensive (leather). Are there any opinions on a similar aftermarket version? What do people think about bag liners ... are they useful? Any do's and don'ts with the saddlebags?
If I had it to do over again I would go leatherpros ..they are removable..stick close to the bike and look great ..the big buzz here is they are making some fxdxt bags ..search this forum ...good bags
I totally agree with Olowrider1 and RadioBob
Installed Leatherpros 4 years ago on my '08 FXD and love em.
They look great, plenty of capicity, detach within seconds, and leave no bracketry behind.
Brian, I have been looking for bags for my 08 dyna super glide custom. The prices on these things are crazy. I also have to buy the turn signal relocation kit? Then the easy brackets or something to mount them to the bike. Needless to say i am still looking.
i was in the same boat finding bags. I ordered mine from leatherup.com. alot of bags to choose from and cheap prices. I am upgrading to hard bags this winter, but they got me by.
