Gday....
can anyone help with this?
My front wheel is not buckled BUT when I go slow there seems to be a slight wobble in the front end or just the tyre? I dont know what the story is!!!
Tyres shape?
Bruce
....the dreaded low speed wobble.
While this shaking in the front end could be caused by uneven tire wear or cupping, more often than not the wobble in the front end is caused by an improperly adjusted steering neck bearing.
You should be able to search through previous posts and find more info on the cure.
Unless you ride a RoadGlide, it should be a relatively simple fix.
Good luck!
I just did my neck bearing adjust at 11K miles and that low speed wobble was only apparent thru my handlebars which are 12" ape hangers at speeds around 35-40 mph and slowing down. adjustment fixed that.
