Correction: 06 Dyna are kind of Laboratory Rats they werethe first one to have the 49mm forks, the first 6speed and were the last one with the boring 88CI, first year with injection and maybe first year to have a belt instead of a chain
There were no Streetbobs in 05, 06 was first year for the 6 speed with the 88ci motor with FI and 49mm forks, all dynas had rear belt drive as far back as 1991 maybe older.06 was also the year for the bad ipb and stator
I just did my fat tire kit on my 2006 street bob and had to get special shaft for the transmission . due to them using belt instead of chain so if your thinking of doing a fat tire kit on a 2006 street bob know it will be about 1000$ more due to this shaft in the tranny problem. here is a couple pictures from when I bought it last year and what it looks like now before fat tire kit. I am also adding full size road king bags painted the blue green my bike is now new rims tires forward controls and heat demons . need to still do my levers and controls and my shocks . pretty excited its been in the shop for 6 months ill have it back June 1st . ill put up more pics once its done . hope you guys like the color and what im doing . I never in my life thought id own a bike much less the gorgeous bike I have

Too many differences from '05 to '06. Different frame, transmission, suspension, fuel system and it goes on from there. Here is a $12 option for a pdf download http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-David...6d9393&vxp=mtr
I have bought these several times and never been dissatisfied.
