well...after 2 sets, a dozen or so emails, finally got some rear axle spikes made to fit the '06 dynas!
worked w/ tim from cat llc. on these as they didnt make a set to fit the dyna's new beefier rear axle.
bought a set.. they didnt fit, emailed 'em and gave 'em measurements, set me out another set [no charge] cool...but they didnt fit either!! wtf? they machined them to the exact measurement of the nut....not thinking that it would have to be a wee bit larger than the nut to fit "over" it[sheesh!]
anyway, gave him yet another set of detailed measurements......and they had to upsize to bigger stock..[whew]..and finally, i got these in the mail.... put 'em on...fit like a glove[tight glove mind you] but fit nonetheless
only problem....the dont match all my other spikes!!! wtf? they MADE most of the others i have[front axle, head bolts etc.] dont have the same profile so they dont look quite right to me
i assume they couldnt machine the tapered neck design of the others because of the need to maintain a certain wall thickness..but who knows? i sent another email asking what the deal was...but have yet to recieve a reply
dont get me wrong here... these things look good, and at the moment theyre the only set made,
maybe im just being ****...lemme know what you guys think

RE: more pointy things!
I got their front spikes and love them. I was going to get the back ones but already dropped the dimes for the HD stuff. Glad I didn't go with them. Good luck. They seemed real good to deal with so I'm sure it will work out. Too bad you had to be the goat.
