To me, mind you, the batwing looks best on an FL front end with the larger full fender. They were made for electra glides look best on them. Again just me. Had a street glide, and there was some buffeting. the HD bottom wind deflectors that attached to the fairing's bottom edge, did help.
I think the fairing looks good. I liked mine when i had it. I had no issues with buffeting. I mounted it with 4 harley quick release clamps so it was on and off in seconds. Also mounted a small amp and 4" speakers for tunes with an ipod.

I'm pretty sure that due to your stock bar height you'll have to relocate the turn sigs. The stock mini apes on mine just happen to be high enough that I didn't have to relocate.
I installed the Batwing last week and didn't have to relocate the tun signals. There's plenty of clearance, but the signals are now covered up. Might move them, leave them as is or eventually get the side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Either way, the Batwing does a great job deflecting the wind and cold. Best mod I've done so far and I even like the way it looks.
